Abstract
This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the educational effects of prayer on the religious behavior of young people living in Sari city and it tried to answer the question that what educational effects does prayer have on the religious behavior of young people living in Sari city? The research is a descriptive research and the method used in this study is a survey. The studied population includes students, students and students aged 15 to 30 years, and the target sample was selected using a stratified random method and a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data. The validity of the tool has been calculated and verified using the face validity method and the reliability of the tool using Cronbach's alpha. One of the most important results of this study is the existence of a relationship between the belief in the effect of prayer on self-knowledge, the feeling of success and progress in life, peace of mind, increasing self-esteem, knowledge of God, the effect of prayer on returning divine judgment and warding off worldly calamities with religious behavior.
