Analyzing the epistemological aspects of health in documentary supplications; A case study of prayer after noon prayer

Abstract
A deep and detailed understanding of Islamic culture is based on a scientific approach to all its teachings, including supplications. The issue of the present research is that what dimensions of the concept of health in Islamic culture are revealed in the content of prayer after noon prayer? Based on the findings of the present research, using the analytical method, two parts of the mentioned prayer convey three important and strategic issues in understanding the aspects related to the concept of health, illness and treatment, which are aligned and converging with other religious themes in this field. First is understanding the mutual dependence of health on divine will and human action. The second issue is to understand the multidimensional view of religion on the concept of health, which, in addition to individual health and comfort, also includes the social and spiritual dimension. The third issue is not restricting the desire for health, both for physical diseases and for mental diseases, which the above prayer refers to. As a result, it was found that this prayer both strengthens a person's beliefs in his relationship with the Creator and can be considered as a motivational content in creating a religious motivation to improve the human functional system as much as possible. In addition, proverbial prayers, like the revelations, have the ability to convey a floating, variable and multi-level amount of authentic religious knowledge to the audience.
