Abstract
Prayer is one of the important religious concepts, and it is one of the actions of a unified human being to meet needs, get rid of defects and reach perfection. Islamic scholars have made efforts to analyze the different dimensions of prayer with the help of verses and traditions and have made points. Among the various aspects of prayer, the precise explanation of the concept of answer, which is actually the fruit of prayer and its ultimate cause, is of great importance. Allameh Tabatbai, with a Quranic approach, has carefully discussed the concept of answering prayer based on revelation knowledge and philosophical and mystical taste, and in the context of believing in a perfect system that is bound by causal relationships in the network of causes. In the Qur'anic approach of Allameh, and based on rational and narrative foundations, the Almighty God is inherent, always giving and answering, and there is no obstacle on his part to answer the prayer. In this case, the question remains, why doesn't he always answer the prayers of the supplicants? The analytical answer to this issue is mainly dependent on the investigation of the origin of human needs and prayer, whether it has a natural and monotheistic origin, or an illusory and instrumental origin. By accurately drawing the system of causes and at the same time completely denying independence from it, and also by explaining what the natural needs of man are, the fruit of prayer with the first origin is a definite answer, and the second achievement is a possible and probable answer, and not a necessary and definite one.
